Greater Joy Mission Church Food Pantry

The Food Bank receives millions of pounds of food a year that need to be sorted and organized quickly to distribute out to our communities. Food sorting includes frozen meat, produce, and dry goods. Volunteers must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Deliver Banquet Meals to the Homeless
Thursdays 5:30-6:30 pm
We’re looking for volunteers to pick up meals from The Banquet at Trinity Lutheran Church and deliver them to the United Way Emergency Homeless Shelter on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you have any questions you can call our office at 701-255-3601
Make Personal Hygiene Kits for Youth
Many of the residential children served by Great Circle arrive with virtually nothing of their own. Being able to give them their own personal hygiene items is very important.
Write Thank You Notes to Essential Staff
Write a thank-you note to Covenant House Missouri team members who are on the front lines with our youth every day supporting them as they go from homelessness to hope.

United Way of Greater Atlanta is partnering with Westside Future Fund to support the residents of the Atlanta’s Historic Westside! Help Westside Future Fund deliver food to Atlanta residents.
Pack Meals with Westside Future Fund
9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Help Westside Future Fund sort and pack food for Atlanta residents! United Way of Greater Atlanta is partnering with Westside Future Fund to support the residents of the Atlanta’s Historic Westside. Register as an individual or a team!
Mobile Food Drop
8:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.
Volunteers needed to help with a mobile food drop. Help set up distribution tables, sort product, load boxes into trunks to serve approximately 200 families.
Food Pantry Support
8:30 am - 1:00 pm or 1 - 4 pm
Stock the food pantry shelves, sort and bag groceries, and engage with anyone that drives through to pick up or donate food. CDC guidelines are in place for volunteer and client safety.

Write a note of encouragement or blessing to brighten a family’s day this holiday season! Materials will be provided.

Pack one of each item into a box or bag to make a Holiday Meal Kit: Pie Shells, Pumpkin Filling, Stovetop Dressing, Cranberry Sauce, Canned Sweet Potatoes, Canned Green Beans.
