Create & Donate Blankets

Volunteers are needed to create easy, no-sew blankets and holiday cards or letters for seniors in the Greater Atlanta area. Newly bought blankets are also an option. Blankets are not only a much-needed resource, but a gift of love to the individuals

Food Pantry Support

Volunteers are needed to restock inventory on pantry shelves, replenish refrigerators and freezers, and prepare emergency bags for families and individuals facing homelessness with St. Vincent de Paul.

Community Garden with MAUF

Volunteers are needed to help plant, maintain and harvest produce at Metro Atlanta Urban Farm. Typical tasks include weeding, mulching, turning compost, garden beautification, invasive plant removal, planting and harvesting.

Meal Packing with Backpack Buddies

Join United Way of Greater Atlanta & Backpack Buddies in packing bag full of food for children and families of Coweta School systems!

Donation Sorting with United Way

Volunteers are needed to help with donation sorting, intake, and distribution. Volunteers will also help put together various care packages for seniors, children, and families.

Virtual College & Career Workshop

Volunteers are needed support local high school students by sharing their experience as a professional, college & education journeys, and path to success during this virtual workshop.

Tree Care in Chosewood

Volunteers can assist Trees Atlanta with tree care in the Chosewood neighborhood. Planting tasks include digging holes with shovels/mattocks, untangling roots with your hands, mulching, and watering.

Virtual Furniture Build

Noon - 1 PM

Volunteers will gather virtually for an side table build and enjoy a Zoom party. The Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta staff provides all materials and live instruction for the build.

Emergency Food Distribution

Volunteers will assist SWEEAC with their emergency food distribution by unloading & unpacking donations to store for distribution.
